In Cyprus over thew weekend Omonia still unbeaten beat New Salamina 2-0 with both their goals coming in the second half through Mavrias in the 24th minute and Matt Derbyshire in the 32nd minute. Second placed AEL on four points beat Enosis Neon Paralimniou 2-0 with both their goals coming in the second half 50th minute Coelho and Avraam 60th minute. In the final game on Saturday Olympiakos drew with Doxa Katokopia 1=1, Olympiakos goal coming from Economides on the 59th minute and Doxa equalised in the 69th minute with Benjamin.

In Sunday’s games AEK Larnaca beat Pafos away 2-0 in a very tough game that was level until the 60th minute when Surek was sent off leaving Pafos with ten men and AEK capitalised by scoring straight away with a penalty from Tricovski who then scored again from a penalty in added time to give AEK a vital win.

The games Anorthosis v Apollon and Ethnikos Achna v Apoel were postponed due to Apoel And Apollon playing European ties earlier in the week.
