George Michael’s former lover Fadi Fawaz has smashed windows at the late star’s old home in a bizarre attempt to renovate his London mews house.

Fadi, 46, has been living at the property near Regent’s Park, London, since he found the Wham! singer dead, from heart disease, on Christmas Day 2016.

He is now officially squatting there, having ignored legal letters from George’s family as he believes the late star gave him permission to live there before his death, and has alarmed neighbours by smashing several windows.

Photographs obtained by British newspaper The Sun show windows in the property smashed, and a labourer working nearby claimed they were vandalized in a fit of rage.

“He just started going crazy and smashing up the place. It was scary,” the worker said. Another workman added: “There was glass flying everywhere. He went absolutely berserk.

I was renovating. I was changing things around,” he explained. “I can ask when it’ll be done and let you know. It’s all right, it is all in hand.”

The Careless Whisper singer’s family are reportedly unimpressed, with a source telling the publication: “The place is beginning to look like a squat. The fear is the whole house will end up wrecked.”

Neither Fadi, nor George’s ex-partner Kenny Goss, were included in his will as beneficiaries of his $160 million (£98 million) fortune.
