The first regional meeting of heads of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Cyprus in the Middle East, the Gulf and North Africa begins on Thursday in Amman, Jordan, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Christodoulides, the Ministry says in a press release.

“The meeting aims at the exchange of views and further improvement of coordination of the diplomatic network of Cyprus in the wider region, in the framework of the implementation of the objectives of the foreign policy of the Republic of Cyprus”, the press release notes.

During the meeting there will be an exchange of views with Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Αl Safadi.

On the occasion of his presence in Amman, Christodoulides will have a private meeting and expanded consultations today with his Jordanian counterpart, the press release says.
