Prodromos Prodromou, Government Spokesperson of the Republic of Cyprus, will be guest speaker at a meeting organised by the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus in association with the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK.

The meeting, titled “Cyprus: Prospects for a Solution”, will take place on Tuesday 16th July 2019 at the Grand Committee Room, in the House of Commons.

Present will be Sir Roger Gale MP, Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus,

Rt. Hon. Theresa Villiers MP, Bambos Charalambous MP, Rt. Hon. Joan Ryan MP, Catherine West MP, Roger Godsiff MP, Baroness Massey of Darwen, Angus MacNeil MP, Kate Osamor MP, Matthew Offord MP, John Cryer MP, Sheryll Murray MP, and Ross Thomson MP, Officers of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus.

Government Spokesperson Prodromos Prodromou has served a long political career, having first been elected to the House of Representatives in 1996 as a member of DISY. He was a member of the House of Representatives from 1996-2006 and from 2013-2016. He has served as Deputy Parliamentary Spokesperson for DISY, Chair of the House Committee on Educational Affairs and Deputy Chair of the House Committee on Foreign & European Affairs. He was appointed as Government Spokesperson of the Republic of Cyprus by Mr President Nicos Anastasiades in February 2018.
