Strictly Come Dancing stars Aljaž Škorjanec, Giovanni Pernice and Gorka Marquez brought their Here Come The Boys show to London’s Adelphi Theatre on Sunday evening. It was a perfect girls’ night out, scoring a fab-u-lous 10 from me!

From the moment the handsome trio emerged on stage wearing boxing robes to Eye of the Tiger, it was clear it was going to be a rowdy night – the audience, mostly women, just couldn’t control themselves!

The show was set in a nightclub, complete with a beat boxing DJ and glamorous singer/host, and saw the Strictly professionals compete against each other in a series of dance battles with the winner decided by the audience.

Each got their time to shine; Giovanni’s unbelievably quick feet took the jive crown, Aljaž’s grace won the ballroom honours and new dad Gorka’s Spanish flair earned him the salsa title.

Between routines, there was effortless banter between them which had the audience laughing uncontrollably.

Dance highlights included a sensual rumba from Giovanni to Purple Rain, a very sexy Drunk in Love number from Gorka and a beautiful routine to Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud from Aljaž.

The leading men were supported by a group of commercial dancers and three ballroom and Latin specialists.

The night ended with a huge medley of different styles, and the boys trying (and failing!) to produce ‘basic’ beat box beats.

Here Come The Boys is touring the country until July 28.
