Hundreds of UK Cypriot fans are hoping to descend on Hampden Park Stadium in Glasgow and even more from Cyprus this Saturday for the Scotland v Cyprus game at Hampden Park at 8pm for the UEFA EURO 2020 Qualifier .

It’s a massive game for Cyprus who beat San Marino 5-0 and lost to Belgium 2-0 and are currently in second place in the group on superior goal difference. One of the players playing for Cyprus will be UK Cypriot Tottenham player Anthony Georgiou.

Scotland now have a manager in in Steve Clarke who takes over from Alex Mcleish who was sacked after losing to Kazakhstan 3-0 and beating San Marino 2-0 in the UEFA EURO 2020 Qualifiers.

Clarke played for St Mirren, Chelsea and the Scotland national team, winning three major trophies with Chelsea towards the end of his career. After retiring as a player, he moved into coaching and worked at Newcastle United, Chelsea, West Ham United and Liverpool. Clarke has since managed West Bromwich Albion and Reading. After a spell coaching at Aston Villa, Clarke was appointed Kilmarnock manager in October 2017.

Scotland are hoping to field players of the calibre Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson. Man Utd’s Scott Mctommay and Tom Cairney of Fulham.

Cyprus Football Association announces that new arrangements have been made for the selling of tickets for the away fans sector for the match Scotland – Cyprus on 8th of June in Hampden Park, Glasgow.

The tickets for the Cypriot fans, will be available as follows: Thursday, 6th of June: 09:00 – 17:00 from Scottish F.A. shop at Hampden Park Stadium.Friday, 7th of June: 10:00 – 18:00 at tickets selling point at Hampden Park Stadium. Saturday, 8th of June: From 10:00 at tickets selling point at Hampden Park Stadium. Price of the tickets: 27 pounds.
