The Summer 2019 edition of The Guide youth brochure has just been published, highlighting a vast range of free or low-cost daily activities for 11 to 19 year olds. Sports sessions, youth clubs and discos are just some of the activities listed in the latest programme of activities.
Other activities include Friday Night Football on the Astroturf at the Laura Trott Leisure Centre from 6-8pm, Youth Sport Night at the John Warner Sports Centre every Friday from 8-9pm, and multi-sport sessions at Multi-Use Games Areas in Cheshunt on Mondays from 6-8pm, Wormley on Tuesdays from 4-6pm and Holdbrook on Wednesday from 5.30-7.30pm.
Tennis, rugby, archery, paddlesport and running projects are also included.
The Next Generation Youth Club at Boundary Park on the Plomer Avenue Estate takes place every Thursday night from 7.30-9pm for those aged 13 to 16 years of age.
The X-Plosion Club Night, for pupils in school years 7, 8 and 9, will be held on Friday 28 June and Friday 19 July at Goffs School but is open to pupils from other schools. Running from 7.30-10.30pm in a safe environment, tickets cost £5.70 in advance from The Laura Trott Leisure Centre or £7 on the door.
Activities from partner agencies YC Hertfordshire, Herts Young Mariners Base and Aldwyck Housing Association are also included.
