Aubrey Cup Quarter Final – New Salamis FC 4 – 0 Ware Sports FC

The Reds stormed into the Aubrey Cup Semi Final with a great 4-0 win over Ware Sports FC. The reds were in great form in the first half scoring three goals and it could have been more.
Richard Georgiou started the scoring on the 27th minute mark when he lobbed the on rushing keeper. for 1-0.

Ryan Hervel scored goal number two rather fortuitously when his low cross evade everyone in the box and curled into the bottom corner for 2-0.

Leon Mckenzie then made it 3-0 cutting in and firing a low shot into the far corner. 
Half time 3-0

The second half saw Ware Sports come out and dominate the early stages and play really well, forcing Bobby Smith into some smart saves. However New Salamis went 4-0 up when Leon Mckenzie’s shot was parried and Kyri Portou forced the rebound home for 4-0.
Salamina win through to the Semi Final of the Herts Senior County League Cup where they will play at home vs Belstone FC on April 27th 2019
