Three girls have been charged with grievous bodily harm following an attack on a 14-year-old girl.

Those charged are:

[A] A 15-year-old girl from Barnet
[B] A 15 -year-old girl from Wood Green
[C] A 16-year-old girl from Haringey

The girl [B] was also charged with possessing a pointed/bladed article.

Al three were charged on Wednesday, 9 January with grievous bodily harm with intent.

They were kept in custody to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 10 January.

The charges follow an incident on Tuesday, 8 January at 18:48hrs whereby a teenage girl was attacked.

The victim, aged 14, told police she had been assaulted in the car park of the coroner’s court on Wood Street, Barnet. The victim is believed to be known to the suspects.

The victim had been slashed across the face with a knife. The victim was taken to hospital where she remains being treated for life-changing injuries

Following enquires, two girls were arrested at an address in Haringey, later that night and a third girl was also arrested later that night at a separate address, again in Haringey.
