Officers from BTP have today released a CCTV image after a man was stabbed outside Bow Church railway station in Bow.

The offence is reported to have happened at 10.08am on Friday 21 December 2018.

The victim, a man in his fifties, suffered a single stab wound to the stomach, his injuries were not life threatening.

The offence followed an argument between two men on board a DLR service.

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.

DC Mike Ganly said: “This was a serious assault and we are working to understand exactly what happened. I would urge anyone with information to contact us as soon as possible, especially if you recognise the man in this CCTV image.”
