In Cyprus AEL beat Doxa Katokopias 2-0 to go on top of the table their goals came from Torres in the 20th minute and Jurado in the 86th minute giving them six points so far this season. Pafos drew 1-1 with Anorthosis at home Pafos trailed 1-0 to Anothosis who scored in the 20th minute with a goal from Rayo but they came back late in the game with a Angulo goal in the 81st minute to give Pafos a draw.

New Salamis had their first game and first win of the season which puts them in third place when they won 5-3  away to Paralimni with their goals coming from Thiago 2, Kosti, Onuegbu and Eloundou. Paralimni’s goals came from Pittas, Rasmussen and Ekiza.

Ermis Aradippou in their second game of the season had their first win winning away to Alki Oroklini with their goals coming from Pardo and Katsiali.

AEK v Apollon, Apoelv Omonia matches never took place because of European matches taking place earlier in the week.
