All three Cypriot teams that played last night in the Europa League did very well in their first legs most impressive was Apollon beating Dinamo Brest 4-0 all four goals coming in the second half from Zelaya, 46 and 58 minutes, Markovic and Veretilo.
AEK Larnaca beat Sturm Graz 2-0 with their goals coming in the 46th and 74th minute with their goals coming from Truyois and Trickovski.
The game was delayed for 30 minutes in the 7th minute when the referee stopped play when something was thrown from the crowd and hit a linesman on the head.
Apoel was held to a draw in Israel versus Hapoel Beer Sheva and will be disappointed with themselves as they were leading 2-0 with goals from Morais with a 13th minute penalty and Dellatorre in the 28th minute. Hapoel equalised with Ogu 42nd minute and Nwakaeme in the 70th but Apoel held out even with ten players as a result of Dellatorre getting sent off with ten minures to go.
