On Sunday 10 June Sue Koumourou sister Andry Yiakoumi did running/Jogging/walking/crawling 10k.

This year they  decided to fund raise for Lupus UK.
A few years ago  (Sue) was told she had abnormal blood cells, after several hospital appointments and untold amount of different tests she finally was diagnosed with Lupus. For those of you who do not know what it is, it’s an incurable immune system illness which attacks tissues and organs and can affect different body systems, including joints, skin, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs. Unfortunately Sue  has the blood type which affects most of her organs and joints. Their sister Elle was also diagnosed with Lupus, a few years back but hers has affected her skin only.

Research into Lupus is still very new and underfunded.
