A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with burglaries in Potters Bar and St Albans.

Edwards Stokes of no fixed abode has been charged with burglary that occurred in Hill Rise, Potters Bar, on June 2.

He was also charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of an offensive weapon and driving whilst disqualified and going equipped to steal in Chivenor Place, St Albans, on June 2.

He has been remanded to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Friday, July 6.

Stokes was arrested in St Albans on June 2 shortly after a call to police from a member of the public. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the remaining suspects.
