An ecstatic Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe told our sports journalist Michael Yiakoumi that he was very emotional after one of his best wins in his managerial career.

Bournemouth stunned Chelsea with three second-half goals in a 3-0 Premier League victory on Wednesday, beating the champions It was also Chelsea’s  first home defeat in four months.

Bournemouth opened the scoring  in the 51st minute after midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko lost the ball and Callum Wilson played a neat one-two with Jordan Ibe who then slotted the ball home.

Wilson was also involved in the second goal, when he pushed the ball to Junior Stanislas who flicked it into the net off goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in the 65th minute.

Chelsea pushed players forward but could not breakdown the Bournemouth defence.

Then what a comeback to Stamford Bridge for Ex Chelsea midfielder Nathan Ake when he made it three in the 68th minute, tapping the ball in the back of the net from a Stanislas shot.

In the stand to watch Chelsea’s first home defeat since Sept. 30 were Chelsea new signings  Olivier Giroud signed from Arsenal only a few hours before kickoff.

And Emerson Palmeiri signed from Roma.
