We sadly announce the death of popular Hasan Raif at the age of 69.

He sadly passed away in the early hours this morning after losing the battle with cancer.

Hassan Raif was born 22 June 1948 in Kantou, Cyprus.
Hassan Raif studied Engineering in Istanbul, and came to U.K. 1977.

Hassan Raif always fought for justice and was a strong believer in coexistence between all Cypriots and continually strived for the reunification of Cyprus!

He leaves behind his wife Gulshen, daughter Sheniz, and Son Mehmet.

Hasan Raif was the Chairman and member of the committee of the Cypriot Community Centre in Wood Green for several years.

Hasan was also Chairman of the Turkish Cypriot Association for Democracy.

The funeral of our comrade Hasan Raif who passed away on 31 December 2017 will be held this Friday 5th of January 2018. at 2.30pm there will be prayers at Palmers Green Mosque, Oakthorpe Road, London, N13 5JL afterwards  the burial will take place at Tottenham Park Cemetry Chapel,  247 Montagu Road, Edmonton, London, N18 2NF and from 5.00pm onwards will follow the wake at the Cypriot Community Centre, Earlham Grove, Wood Green, London, N22 5HJ
