Three fire engines and 14 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at Stamford Bridge football stadium in Fulham Road on Saturday 7th October 2017.

There was a fire in the electrical intake room, which was slightly damaged.

Ten people were evacuated from the west stand of the stadium. No injuries were reported.

The Brigade was called at 2103 and the fire was under control at 2148. Fire crews from Fulham, Chelsea and Kensington fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire was due to an electrical fault.
