Defence Minister Christoforos Fokaides has successfully concluded his visit to Israel where he attended the ceremony of the launching of the first open sea vessel acquired by the Republic of Cyprus through the Inter-State Agreement with Israel.

According to a press release issued on Monday by the Ministry of Defence, during his visit to the neighbouring country, Fokaides had a meeting in Tel Aviv with his counterpart Avigdor Liberman with whom he discussed issues of bilateral relations with a view to deepen the cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

As it is noted, this is the fourth meeting between the two Ministers over the past year which is a sign of the close and constructive cooperation between the two countries.
