President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiades concluded brief meeting with the French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the Brussels European Council, before the official session.
According to a competent source, the President of the Republic informed his counterpart on the Cyprus negotiations and exchanged views on Euro-Turkish relations and the strategic relations between Cyprus and France.
It is noted that next October the French President will visit Cyprus as part of the Euro-Mediterranean Summit to be held in Nicosia. Next week, Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides will travel to Paris for meetings with officials of the new French government. The President then met with the German Chancellor A.Merkel.
