Pantel 1 Apoel 5

Apoel started very strong and caught Pantel back tracking in defence from the kickoff time and it was not long before Apoel scored and that was in the 9th minute with Adam Lambrou and the second in the 18th minute with George Lutaaya.Pantelheld out till the break but then again Apoelwent full steam and scored again with Adam Lambrou in the 56th minute with Adam Lambrou and in the 75thminute Michael Spencer made it 4-0.

Pantel scored a consolation goal in the 85th with Kitipos but Adam Lambrou in the dying minutes added a fifth for Apoel and treated himself to a hat trick and the match ball.

This win puts Apoel in pole position and a place in the first division next season doesn’t look out of place for them.

Maronites 2 Asha 3

Maronites started the game on the attack and within 10 minutes were 1-0 up with a goal from Andy Vazanias .

On 20 minutes Adem Ali equalised to make it 1-1.

Asha went into the second half clearly with confidence and within 10 minutes Ellis our latest signing put Asha 2-1 up.

The game was very intense and the Maronites were pushing for an equaliser, but Asha broke away with Chris Spyrou who crossed a superb cross onto the head of Ellis who made no mistake with a superb header to make it 3-1 to Asha.

The Maronites didn’t give up and pushed forward to try and get something out of the game and on the 85th minute they made it 2-3 with a superb shot from the rightwith Marcus Archer but unfortunately time run out for them .

LFA Challenge Cup

First Round

Vista 1 Olympia 4

Olympia are gunning for the LFA Challenge Cup after a good performance against a well organised South London Vista team. Olympia started fantastic with two quick goals first one turn and shot from Tashan second goal long driving shot from Paul Wright.

Third goal just before half time great individual run beating three players and a cool finish from George Yianni.

Second half Vista came out firing but Olympia held strong Vista did score but Dave Laird scored to finish the game well and Olympiaare back in form.

Hendon United 1 Omonia 4

Omonia are continuing their good cup form by moving on from last week’s FA Sunday Cup win by beating Hendon United convincingly 5-2 with their goals coming from Ioannis 3, Nektarios and Marilto.
