Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a woman was allegedly assaulted outside a pub in Cheshunt.

 

The incident happened outside the Crocodile Pub in College Road at around 4.30pm on Saturday (September 24).

 

It was reported that the victim, a 28-year-old woman, was pushed by a man in the car park causing her to fall over. She suffered a broken wrist.

 

Police Constable Chris Phillips, from the Local Crime Unit, said: “It is believed there were a number of witnesses in the area at the time of the incident. I would be very keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or could help with the investigation.”

 

Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number K2/16/3875.

  • A 30-year-old man from Enfield has been arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been bailed by police until November 6 while the investigation continues.
