The Cypriot Golf society recently held their AGM  at Hadley Wood Golf Club on 17th February 2016. where there was approximately 50 members present.

The Society captain, Tony Philippou started his report by thanking the hard working committee and that without them there would be no society.

He emphasised the importance of comradeship and new friendships being built and that he hoped the society would continue being successful.

Tony mentioned the holiday to Mexico and the wonderful times had by all on and off the golf courses.

Tony thanked all the sponsors for being so generous and mentioned all the winners of the golf events.

Tony mentioned that we they beat the ACGS but lost to the MGCFGS in their annual Ryder Cup events.

A cheque for £4,275.00 was presented to the Cancer Research UK and their  representative then gave a brief speech thanking the society for their kind donation.

Tony Philippou finished his speech by thanking all the members for their support and that for him it was an honour to be  captain and that he had thoroughly enjoyed his year as captain of the society.

Reports from the President,Secretary,Treasurer,Competitions and Handicaps were followed by the election of the committee as follows:

Mario Symeou as the 27th Captain of the Society.

Chris Georgiou as the President.

Louie Leonida as the secretary.

Michael Falekos as the Vice Captain.
