Cypriot Cyclist Christodoulos Michael came first in the Balkan Championships – Individual Time Trial (ITT) race, which was held in Romania.

According to an announcement by the Cyprus Cycling Federation, Michael is the fist Cypriot to win the Balkan Cycling Union Road Championship for Juniors.

The race was attended by 26 athletes from 10 Balkan countries. Michael finished first with a time of 16:24 min, with Bulgaria’s Genov Nikolay coming second and Romania’s Dima Emil third.

Cypriot cyclist Kyriacos Petrou finished in the 17th position, with a time of 17:50 min.
