† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Athina Swainsbury

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mum and nanny Athina Swainsbury who passed away
on Thursday 5th December, at the age of 82.

She leaves behind her husband Ray, daughter Sharon-Anna, son-in-law Keith-Gerasimos and granddaughter Sophia Athina Rose.

A devoted wife of 56 years, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed chanting in various churches across London over many years.

The funeral will take place on Monday 13th January 2025, at 12noon, at The Greek Orthodox Church of The Holy Cross & Archangel Michael, The Riding, Golders Green, London, NW11 8HL followed by the burial, at 2pm at Sewardstone Park Cemetery, Netherhouse Farm, Sewardstone Road, London, E4 7RJ.
There will be a donation box at the church for the RNLI, a charity close to her heart, and the Stroke Association.

Με βαριά καρδιά και μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο της αγαπημένης μας συζύγου, μαμάς και νταντάς Αθηνάς Σένσμουρη που έφυγε από τη ζωή
την Πέμπτη 5 Δεκεμβρίου, σε ηλικία 82 ετών.

Καταλείπει τον σύζυγό της Ρέι, την κόρη της Σάρον-Άννα, το γαμπρό της Κιθ-Γεράσιμο και την εγγονή της Σοφία Αθηνά Ρόουζ.

Μια αφοσιωμένη σύζυγος 56 ετών, μητέρα και γιαγιά που αφιέρωσε τη ζωή της στην οικογένειά της και της άρεσε να ψάλλει σε διάφορες εκκλησίες σε όλο το
Λονδίνο για πολλά χρόνια.

Η κηδεία θα γίνει τη Δευτέρα 13 Ιανουαρίου 2025, στις 12 το μεσημέρι, από τον Καθεδρικό Ναό Τιμίου Σταυρού και Αρχαγγέλου Μιχαήλ The Riding, Golders Green, London, NW11 8HL και θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή, στις 2μμ, στο Sewardstone Park Cemetery, Netherhouse Farm, Sewardstone Road, London, E4 7RJ.
Θα υπάρχει ένα κουτί εισφορών στην εκκλησία για το RNLI, μια φιλανθρωπική οργάνωση κοντά στην καρδιά της και το Stroke Association.
