Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, is to visit Cyprus on Thursday, CNA has learnt.

Competent sources told CNA that Herzog’s visit is related to the Cyprus-Egypt Intergovernmental Summit and the Cyprus-Egypt-Greece Trilateral Summit taking place in Cairo on Wednesday and the developments in the region and especially in Syria but also the change in the US administration.

Developments, the same sources note, which, are bringing the countries of the region together.
