The Cyprus Meteorological Service forecasts rain and isolated storms from Monday night until Friday.

Iasonas Christodoulou from the Department of Meteorology (CyMet) has told the Cyprus News Agency that isolated rains are expected on Monday evening, mainly on the coast and same conditions are expected on Tuesday as well.

Isolated storms are also expected from noon on Tuesday, but they will not be as intense as on Onday. Isolated rainfall and storms are expected again on Christmas Day, Thursday and Friday, and hail is also likely to fall in storms areas.

Temperatures will be around 16 Celsius for the remaining days of the week but a slight drop on Thursday and on Friday is expected and temperatures will be around 14C.

A fresh yellow warning is not expected to be issued for Monday evening and Tuesday but conditions are under assessment and new recommendations will be made for the public if needed.
