Caledonian Road platform works
Between Monday 14 October and Thursday 21 November, we will be carrying out works to the platforms at Caledonian Road station. This means that trains will not be able to stop.
To minimise disruption, we will work on one platform at a time. This means that trains will not stop at Caledonian Road as follows:
- Monday 14-Thursday 31 October – eastbound trains (towards Cockfosters) will not stop
- Monday 4-Thursday 21 November – westbound trains (towards central London) will not stop
During the closure:
- Plan ahead
- Consider alternative routes – including travelling from Caledonian Road in the opposite direction, and changing at the next station (King’s Cross St Pancras or Holloway Road) for services back in the direction you want to go
- Check before you travel
Step-free access
During the platform closures, there will still be step-free access to Caledonian Road station, but you will not be able to use the platform that is closed.
You can use the Piccadilly line to travel from Caledonian Road in the opposite direction, and change at the next step-free station (King’s Cross St Pancras or Finsbury Park) for services back in the direction you want to go.
Change at King’s Cross St Pancras or Finsbury Park:
- Monday 14-Thursday 31 October – change at King’s Cross St Pancras
- Monday 4-Thursday 21 November – change at Finsbury Park
Or you can use buses 17, 259 or 91 (N91 overnight) to King’s Cross St Pancras, or 259 to Finsbury Park
Weekend part-closures
The Piccadilly line will be part-closed on a number of weekends.
