Cyprus’ athletics squad at the Olympic Games in Paris includes two female and one male athletes.

According to the Amateur Athletic Association of Cyprus (KOEAS), the World Athletics Federation posted on Sunday the final lists for male and female athletes who fill the available places in each event at the Olympics in Paris and among them are Elena Kulichenko (high jump), Olivia Fotopoulou (100m. and 200 m.) and Milan Trajkovic (110m. hurdles).

For Trajkovic, this will be his third consecutive participation in the Olympic Games, having achieved a 7th place at Rio 2016, KOEAS notes. The Association further says that Milan Trajkovic is likely to carry the Cypriot flag at the opening ceremony, as in the previous Olympic Games, in Tokyo.
