Three men were arrested following an arrest enquiry at an address in Goffs Oak which uncovered a cannabis stash worth over £1m.

On Monday 20 May, officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Operational Support Group, along with the Operational Intelligence and Mobile Support teams, attended the address in relation to an investigation into the supply of cannabis.

Officers entered the address and detained the three men, and in the subsequent search of the property a total of 128 vacuum seal bags containing 147 kilograms of cannabis were recovered. The potential street value of the drugs is estimated at £1.4 million.

The three men were later charged:

  • Dionis Selamani, aged 28, of The Chase, Goffs Oak, was charged with Possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply – Class B – Cannabis
  • Klevis Barci, aged 19, of The Chase, Goffs Oak, was charged with Possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply – Class B – Cannabis
  • Radiol Hatia, aged 26, of The Chase, Goffs Oak, was charged with Possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply – Class B – Cannabis

All three were remanded into custody.

PC Geoff Webb, from Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Operational Support Group, said: “These types of operations are continually being conducted to disrupt the drug supply networks in our towns. The size of this seizure will make a significant impact on the supply of drugs on the streets of Hertfordshire.

“We rely on the information we receive from the public, so if you have suspicions about drug dealing in your area, report it to us so we can build up a picture of intelligence and take action.”
