Images released of two men sought in connection with Haringey stabbiOfficers are appealing for the public’s help to identify two men following a stabbing outside a shop in Haringey in March.

On Wednesday, 13 March at approximately 23:30hrs police received a call regarding an altercation that took place outside RK Mini Market on Willoughby Lane N17.

Officers found a man in his 20s with a stab wound to his leg.

Detectives recovered CCTV footage from outside the shop showing three suspects get out of a blue Vauxhall Corsa, while the victim ran into the shop for help. The suspects then began to kick and break the front glass door of the shop.

When entering the shop, one of the men produced a flick knife, which he used to repeatedly stab the victim. The victim was swiftly taken to hospital, where his injuries were deemed non life-threatening. He was discharged two days later.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on 14 March 2024 and was later charged with affray and possession of a bladed article

Detectives now want to identify two outstanding suspects, who were captured on CCTV wearing dark clothing and appear to be of Asian descent.

They were last seen going towards Northumberland Park Station N1.

Detective Constable William Darko is leading the investigation. He said: “We’ve been following a number of lines of enquiry, speaking with community members and gathering vital evidence and we’re now releasing images of two suspects. We want to hear from anyone in and around north London who can identify these men.

“Knife crime has a devastating impact and destroys lives – it’s our top priority at the Met to tackle this and fight the crime that matters most to our communities.”
