The Union of Cypriots in the UK (EKA), in collaboration with the Cypriot Women’s Union and Αrachne Greek Cypriot Women’s Group, invites the Cypriot community and friends to its first joint event on the subject of women, on Saturday 1st June 2024, 7.30pm at the Cypriot Community Centre, Earlham Grove, Wood Green N22 5HJ.

Main speaker Skevi Koukouma, General Secretary of the Pancyprian Federation of Women’s Organisations (POGO) and former MP, will deliver a speech titled ‘1974 – the impact and consequences on Cypriot women.’

The event will close with refreshments.

It is important that Cypriot women, particularly refugees attend, as there will be useful information on possible entitlement to state benefits available to women affected by the events of 1974.
