Do you recognise this man?

British Transport Police officers investigating three robberies have released this CCTV image in connection.

On Tuesday 9 April at around 7.10pm while on train from London Bridge, a 52-year-old man was approached by another man who asked him for the time then indicated he was carrying a knife and demanded his mobile phone.

The victim handed it over before attempting to get it back off him, but the man then hit the victim repeatedly in the head before he ran off the stationary train.

The next day, Wednesday (10 April) at around 3.10pm a 72-year-old man was on a static train on Platform 11 at London Bridge Station when a man approached him and snatched his phone. The victim tried to grab the phone back but the man threatened to stab him.

The man ran down the carriages and off the train.

On Thursday (11 April) at around 3.10pm a 25-year-old woman was travelling from Honor Oak Park to Clapham Junction station when she was approached by a man who was walking along the carriages.

He asked her for the time,  before demanding her phone and threatening to stab her. He then demanded she hand over her airpods and case before leaving the train at Crystal Palace station.

Frightened for her safety the victim gave the man her phone.

Officers believe the  three incidents are connected and the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help with their investigation.
