Aussie Eurovision fans say they wish Cyprus entrant represented Australia instead of Electric Fields – as winner of song competition is announced

She’s the Australian-born teen pop singer who placed 12th representing Cyprus in this year’s Eurovision finals.
Silia is the second Aussie in two years to represent Cyprus. Andrew Lambrou from Sydney made the finals last in 2023 and finished 12th.

It comes as Switzerland won the grand final of Eurovision 2024.
