Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos was received on Thursday by Israeli President Isaac Herzog noting that he is thankful for the political endorsement of Cyprus’ maritime corridor proposal for humanitarian aid to Gaza.

“Warmly received by President Herzog – a true friend of Cyprus. Insightful exchange on current situation in Gaza and the imperative need for immediate release of all hostages” Kombos wrote on his account on ‘X’.

He added that he is “thankful for the political endorsement of Cyprus maritime corridor proposal”.

Meanwhile, the office of the President of Israel wrote on its account on ‘X’ that Isaac Herzog held meetings with the Foreign Minsters of Ireland and Cyprus “to discuss the conflict against Hamas terrorists, & the importance of the immediate release of all the hostages – a clear humanitarian demand for the whole world”.
