Gogglebox’s Lee Riley has swapped Hull for Cyprus after filming for the most recent series ended this week.

Lee and his best friend Jenny Newby are very popular on the Channel 4 show, leaving fans in stitches each Friday with their hilarious quips about the week’s best telly.

Away from their famous caravan in Hull, Lee has been in a happy relationship with Steve for some 29 years. Steve lives in Cyprus and Lee often travels to the Mediterranean island to spend some quality time with his long-term partner.

Steve took to Instagram on Sunday to share that Lee had come back to see him. Posting an adorable snap of the two smiling, Steve said: “So happy to have you home after another fabulous series of Gogglebox now the summer celebrations can begin here in sunny Northern Cyprus

Fans rushed to wish the two well, although some have admitted they are “gutted”. Taking to the comments section, Heather said: “Have a fantastic summer, looking forward to September xx”, while Cara said: “Gutted the show is over but have the best summer you two”.

Sharon said: “Sad to see the end of Gogglebox but happy holidays”. Gogglebox’s Ellie Warner said: “Hope you both have a fab summer”.

Celebrity Gogglebox will air from Friday, June 16, on Channel 4 and All 4 with the usual version expected to return in September as it has done in previous years.
