Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters tackled a fire in a building under construction on Wilton Road in Victoria.

Waste material on the seventh floor was damaged by fire.

The Brigade’s 999 Control took 12 calls to the visible blaze.

The Brigade was called at 1237 and the fire was under control by 1336. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
