AEK continued their good run of form to dispatch Whetstone 9-0 in a dominant and convincing performance.

Michael put AEK ahead in the first minute with a clever lob which evaded the Whetstone keeper. Michael then turned provider for Kai to score his first goal for AEK since joining in the summer, with a clever header. With Whetstone visibly shaken, AEK were comfortable in possession creating chance after chance and when Michael delivered a dangerous corner, Zak rose high to head in AEK’s third. Danger man Michael then made it 4-0 before half time after some good work from Tristan.

The second half was one-way traffic with AEK relentlessly attacking with their quick passing, organisation and superior technical ability. It was therefore only a matter of time for striker Lucca to get amongst the goals, which he did with aplomb, scoring an impressive 5 goals with some clinical finishing and clever movement to take him top of the goal scoring charts.

All in all, a great team performance from AEK to keep them top of White Division.
