Officers from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are releasing an image of a man they want to speak to following a report of sexual assault.
On Tuesday, 23 August at about 20:15hrs a woman, aged in her late teens, boarded a route 18 bus towards Euston and sat on the upper deck of the bus.
Several minutes into the journey a man boarded the bus in Wembley and sat next to the victim, even though there were several free seats.
He then proceeded to touch the victim’s chest with his elbow and stroke her leg with his hand.
The woman told him to stop several times but he did not.
He eventually stopped when the woman raised her voice and other passengers started to pay attention.
The woman then got up and left the bus in Stonebridge Park, NW10
The man is described as Asian, approximately 20-30yrs old, with short black hair and a beard.
He was wearing bright coral shorts, a green T-shirt and black and blue trainers.
