The Masters Cup 14/09/22 West Herts Golf Club
The Cypriot Golf Society held the Masters Cup on the 14th September 2022 at West Herts Golf Club. The Acting Captain of the day in the absence of our blessed Captain, the last Gill Kyriakou, was his close friend Pako Karantonis
49 golfers including 3 guests competed for the trophy on a sunny Autumnal day at West Herts Golf Club. The Golf Club is a recent favourite of the society, in immaculate condition with some challenging closing holes.
ACTING CAPTAIN OF TH DAY PAKOS KARANTONIS
The winner of the day was Savva Savva, playing off 17 handicap, with an impressive 42 points. Savva has been in good form has all season, lying second in the overall Order of Merit for the year. Second place went to an old stalwart member, Yiannos Georgallides with 41 points.
The Acting Captain Pakos presented the prizes after dinner. It was touching to see Pako representing his dear friend Gill Kyriakou.
