We sadly announce that UK Cypriot Electra Loizides has passed away

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mum, yiayia and sister Electra Loizides who passed away peacefully on Saturday 12 February 2022 at the age 86. Electra was known for her love and devotion to her family and friends, she enjoyed the love and respect of all who had the good fortune to have known her.

She leaves behind her son Peter, her daughter in law Marie, grandchildren George, Sidney, sister Maroulla and brother Ioanni.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday 8 March 2022 at 10.30am at St. Marys Greek Orthodox Church, Trinity Rd. Wood Green, London N22 8LB and burial at the New Southgate, Brunswick Park Road, London N11 1EZ.

Instead of flowers the family kindly ask for donations to St. Luke’s Hospice, there will be a donation box at the church.

Με μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε το θάνατο της αγαπητής μας μητέρας, γιαγιάς και αδελφής Ηλέκτρας Λοιζίδη η οποία έφυγε ειρηνικά από τη ζωή το Σάββατο 12 Φεβρουαρίου 2022 σε ηλικία 86 ετών. Η μακαριστή Ηλέκτρα διακρινόταν για την αγάπη και αφοσίωση στην οικογένεια της και συνανθρώπους της. Έχαιρε απέραντη εκτίμηση από όλους όσοι είχαν την τύχη να τη γνωρίσουν. Αφήνει το γιό της Παναγιώτη, τη νύφη της Μαρί, τα εγγόνια Γιώργο, Sidney, αδέλφια Μαρία και Ιωάννη.

Η κηδεία της θα γίνει την Τρίτη 8 Μαρτίου 2022 και ώρα 10.30 π.μ. από την εκκλησία της Παναγίας, Trinity Road, Wood Green, London N22 8LΒ, και η ταφή  στο κοιμητήριο του New Southgate , Brunswick Park Road, London N11 1 EZ.

Γίνεται έκκληση αντί ανθέων θα υπάρχει ένα κουτί στην εκκλησία να γίνονται εισφορές  για  το St. Luke’s Hospice.
