In Friday’s game bottom of the league team Ethnikos Achna pulled off a shock one nil win over fourth placed Olympiakos courtesy of an own goal.

In Saturday’s games Aris played a goalless draw with Pafos. Doxa beat PAEEK 2-1 through a Sadek penalty in the 18th minute and a Anaane goal in the 61st minute.Babik scored a penalty for PAEEK  in the 23rd minute to equalise at the time.

In Monday’s games Apoel v Omonia at the GSP stadium was abandoned due to poor visiblity because of the dust.

In Sunday’s game AEK beat AEL 2-0 at the Tsireio in Limassol a Gyurcso goal opened the scoring for AEK when he shot from just outside the box into the top far corner of the goal. The second goal the AEL keeper came out to retrieve the ball and failed to do so leaving Faraj of AEK to reach the ball and fire a long distance shot into an empty net.

Anorthosis gained a valuable point with a 1-1 draw with league leaders Apollon who are now on 25 points just one point ahead of AEK and four points ahead of third placed Aris. Apollon took the lead from the ninth minute through Dabo and Anorthosis equalised through Wanda in the 51st minute.
