Cyprus Μet Office issues yellow warning for heavy thunderstorms

The Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning on Friday for heavy thunderstorms.

The warning is valid form 11.00 local time till 17:30.

“Isolated heavy thunderstorms may affect mountainous and inland areas. Shower rates will range between 35 and 50 millimetres per hour, while hail is likely” says the warning.
