The Cyprus Meteorological Service issued a yellow warning for extreme high temperatures.

The warning is valid from 2100 local time Monday until 1600 Tuesday.

According to the forecast, overnight the minimum temperature will fall to around 26 degrees inland and over southern and eastern coastal areas. Tomorrow the maximum temperature will be around 40 degrees inland and around 32 over Troodos highest peaks.
