Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Janette Manrara has revealed she will replace Zoe Ball as host of Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two.
It means Manrara, who has partnered such celebrities as Peter Andre, HRVY, Dr Ranj Singh over eight years on the BBC One mega hit, will no longer be in the running for the glitterball as a dancing pro. Instead, she will be on the sofa sharing hosting duties with Rylan Clarke-Neal on the BBC Two show, which airs Monday to Friday while Strictly is on.
Manrara, 37, told The One Show hosts Alex Jones and Ronan Keating on Thursday, that leaving the series as a “competitor” was the “hardest part of accepting the honour” but was excited about her new role.
Strictly Come Dancing returns with a new series in the autumn.
