Anorthosis beat Olympiakos 2-1 in a exciting Cyprus Coca Cola Cup final at the GSP stadium in Nicosia, which turned out to be an example of fast flowing football, Anorthosis FC beat Olympiakos on Saturday night to clinch their 11th cup win in its long history.

The match was only attended by only a limited number of fans due to restrictions in place.

The decisive goal was scored by Charles Eloundou late in extra time 110’.
Kostakis Artymatas scored the first goal at 59’ for Anorthosis and Olympiakos’equaliser came from Kingsley Sarfo in the 61’st minute. 1-1 at full time they went into extra time.

Coach Temur Ketsbaia’s Anorthosis last won a major trophy thirteen years ago .  Anorthosis now qualify to play in the Second qualifying round of the Europa League.
