In Cyprus the weekend Omonia kept up with their title hopes by beating AEL 2-1 but it wasn’t easy AEL took the lead from the 7th minute through Ryan Mmaee who picked the ball up on the halfway line and went on a mazy run past four defenders before blasting the ball just inside the box past the onconing Omonia keeper.Omonia equalised early in the second half 47th minuute through Eric Bautheac and a 90th minute added time goal from substitute Marinos Tzionis who capitalised on a mistake by the AEL defenders to nick the ball and go on to score..

Apollon kept the Champion chase on for themselves by beating AEK 3-1 Apollon took the lead through Denic 43rd minute, AEK equalised straight after the break and in a spell of Apollon scored two goals with  Panayiotou 60th minute and Biseswar in the 65th minute to give them a vital win and three points behind league leaders Omonia.

Olympiakos beat Anorthosis 2-0 with one goal in each half from Vrgoc and Charalambous.

Ermis Aradippou lost to Doxa 1-0, Karmiotissa were hammered 6-0 from Pafos whose goals came from Jason Puncheon, Hepburn – Murphy 2, Berigaud and Torres 71st and 78th minute.

Paralimni drew with Nea Salamina 3-3, Kyriacou, Felipe and Udoji scored for Paralimni and hat trick for Nea Salamina from Wagner. Nea Salamina were leading 2-0.

Apoel took a 1-0 lead against Ethnikos Achna from the 4th minute from Sahar and late in the first half Ethnikos equalised with Zakpa to hold out for a 1-1 draw.
