The National Federation of Cypriots in the UK urges each member of our community to ensure that they have registered to vote by Monday 19 April. If you have not registered to vote before this deadline you will not be able to vote in local & Mayoral elections, as well as those for the Scottish Parliament and the Welsh Assembly on Thursday 6 May. We also encourage you to remind your family and friends to register to vote as well.
Federation President, Christos Karaolis said: “Despite the challenges that the Coronavirus pandemic has brought upon us, the UK Cypriot community must make its voice heard in the upcoming Local and Regional election campaign. I urge everyone in the community to register to vote as well as join and actively support the political party that is best aligned with their own views. I would also like to ask the community to ensure they remind and encourage their family members to do the same.”

Did you know? Cypriot citizens living in the UK are also entitled to vote in the upcoming election, as Commonwealth citizens. So, if you are a Cypriot citizen, please register to vote via the link below, and make sure that you vote on May 6th.
It is important that the UK Cypriot community registers to vote by Monday 19 April and goes out to vote on Thursday 6 May. If the Cypriot community exercises its vote, politicians will take notice and do more to help our community. Our vote is our voice!
