Cyprus Meteorology Department issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms on Wednesday.

The warning is valid from 10.00am local time until 4.00pm.

According to the warning, isolated heavy thunderstorms are likely to affect the area. Shower rates may exceed 35MM per hour.
