Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning for rain and thunderstorms.

The warning is valid until Tuesday at 1400 local time.

Rain and possibly isolated thunderstorms are expected to affect the area. Over the western and northern parts mainly, the total rain accumulation may exceed 55 millimeters in a 24-hour period.
