Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters were called to a fire at a house converted into flats on Bryantwood Road in Islington.
A small part of a flat on the first floor of the three-storey building was damaged by fire.
A woman was removed from the building by a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service crew. Another woman was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 0915 and the fire was under control by 1000. Fire crews from Holloway, Islington and Stoke Newington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
